As an Electrical Engr II here at Honeywell, you will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of Instrumentation, electrical systems and components. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support project execution and ensure the delivery of high-quality electrical engineering solutions.
You will report directly to our Sr Electrical Eng Supervisor, and you’ll work out of our Pune, Maharashtra location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact on the company’s ability to innovate and deliver reliable electrical systems that meet customer requirements and industry standards.
Study project specification and develop the Bills of Material for control system / instrumentation / JB / cables / LOP / MMS Panel etc.
Candidate should be able to read and Interpret the P&ID.
Selection of instruments transmitter, gauges, JB
Prepare RFQs for E&I BOM. Review & finalize sub-supplier’s technical offers.
Review of sub-supplier’s technical offers & support in procurement of Transmitters, gauges, JB PLC, MMS, Motors, VFD
Review of vendor drawings & Providing approvals for PLC, MMS, JB, LCS, LOP.
Preparations of post order engineering documents such as IO list, Inst Index, Cable schedule, Inst Hook-up, Logic diagram
Participate in Kick-off, project review meetings, HAZOP & SIL review meeting with customers.
Effectively plan, schedule, manage & report on multiple projects with various deadlines & responsibilities levels.
Support the Application team in reviewing project specifications, reviewing Vendor’s technical offers during pre-bid phase.
Occasional visit to Site or Customer office, FAT support at Vendor’s place
Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation (preferred) / electrical / electronic engineering.
5+ years of experience in electrical engineering.
Familiarity with rotating machinery such as Pumps & Compressors.
Sound Knowledge of Selection for transmitters and Gauges, Junction boxes.
Functional knowledge of PLC, MMS, Motors.
Documentation related to the post order engineering activities for instrumentation & control function.
Ability to handle MS Office applications like Word, Excel and Power Point with ease.
