What you work on:
- The Electrical Engineering Intern's essential functions include:
- Assist with management of ongoing department projects.
- Participate in project related construction and outage activities.
- Execute individual engineering projects as assigned.
- Participate in the development of project scopes, cost estimates, and schedules.
- Assist with and develop specifications in support of projects.
- Prepare and organize project documentation (manuals, PM's, spare parts, correspondence, drawings, drawing lists, material listings, etc.).
- Other tasks as assigned by departmental mentor.

Preferred QualificationsWhat you will bring to the positions:
- B.S.E.E. in progress, preferably having completed junior year course work.
- Strong PC skills, including Windows, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Organizational skills.
- Proven ability to work in teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of electrical design, motors, power/control theory and application, and instrumentation.
- Proven problem solving skills.
- Practical experience and aptitude with hands-on experience preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Approximately 50% of the job function is performed in an office setting requiring normal safety precautions. 50% of the job function is required in the plant. There is exposure to operating machinery and a manufacturing environment.
