Our Mission

Accelerate the irreversible expansion of robotics into reality.

Position Summary

Our mission is to make robotics an irreversible reality. We are always interested in connecting with talented Electrical Engineers who are passionate about building innovative robotic systems, including humanoids.

Our current focus is the next generation of articulated robots, including humanoids. We run an in-house “data foundry” that captures large-scale, real-world manipulation data to train our robot foundation models, so the hardware you design directly shapes what our models can learn. Over the coming year we are moving from prototypes to deploying next-generation humanoids in the field, and we are looking for hardware engineers to own that journey from bench to real-world fleet.

As an Electrical Engineer, you will contribute to the design, development, testing, and deployment of advanced robotic platforms. Depending on your experience and interests, you may work on power electronics, embedded hardware, sensor integration, communications, safety systems, PCB design, system architecture, manufacturing support, and product reliability.

This is an open role intended for engineers at all experience levels, from early-career engineers to experienced technical leaders.

What you'll work on

  • Design electrical systems and electronics for robotic products and subsystems.

  • Develop schematics, PCB layouts, and system architecturehardware documentation.

  • Design and integrate power distribution, motor drive, sensing, communication, and control circuits, including wire harnesses.

  • Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, controls, software, and manufacturing teams to deliver integrated robotic systems.

  • Select and evaluate sensors, actuators, processors, communication interfaces, and other electronic components.

  • Support system bring-up, debugging, validation, and performance testing.

  • Conduct electrical analysis, troubleshooting, and root-cause investigations.

  • Improve system reliability, manufacturability, safety, and cost efficiency.

  • Work with suppliers and manufacturing partners to support prototype builds and production scaling.

  • Support quality improvement efforts and resolve manufacturing or field issues.

What We're Looking For

  • Background in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related field.

  • Experience developing electronic hardware for commercial products or complex systems.

  • Proficiency with PCB design tools such as Altium Designer, KiCad, OrCAD, Cadence, or equivalent.

  • Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design fundamentals.

  • Experience using common laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, and power analyzers.

  • Experience in prototyping and testing PCB boards and harnesses using soldering tools and breadboards.

  • Experience in interfaces such as CAN, EtherCAT, RS422, RS485, I2C, etc.

  • Ability to accurately identify and troubleshoot complex hardware issues and collaborate across disciplines.

Preferred Experience

Experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Robotics and automation systems

  • Power electronics and motor control

  • Battery systems and power distribution

  • Embedded system programming (especially with STM32)

  • Embedded hardware design

  • Sensor integration and signal conditioning

  • High-speed digital design

  • Industrial communications and networking

  • Safety-critical systems

  • Humanoid robotics

  • Mobile robots, AMRs, and AGVs

  • Warehouse and logistics automation

  • Retail and service robotics

  • Product development from prototype through mass production

Why Join Us

You will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge robotics systems, collaborate with world-class engineers, and help bring advanced robotic technologies from concept to large-scale deployment.

We welcome applications from engineers at all career stages. Responsibilities and scope will be aligned with your experience, technical expertise, and career goals.

Language

  • Professional proficiency in English required.

  • Japanese language skills are a plus.
