Job Responsibilities:
As an Electrical Engineer II, you will be responsible for providing trade -specific system design: layout, calculations (utilizing appropriate software), and coordination with the designs of other trades (architectural, engineering/internal, and external).
Some responsibilities include:
- Conducts field inspections to determine existing conditions and to coordinate new work then assists Senior Engineer in preparation of due diligence, feasibility, gap analysis and other technical reports and drawings.
- Coordinates with other disciplines and work in close contact with the entire design team
- Creates basic designs under the direction of the senior engineer and/or senior designer perform equipment selections, load/energy and pressure drop calculations for a variety of projects and project sizes
- Master’s drawing organization format and company standards
Job Requirements:
The ideal candidate will enjoy a team environment and be flexible enough to work independently where needed. Candidates for this role will be eager to learn and will expand their knowledge and hands-on experience by challenging themselves and using the highly technical resources around them.
Additional job requirements:
- 18+ months of relevant experience in the MEP field
- EIT certification is required.
- Demonstrates excellent MS Excel and MS Word skills.
- Demonstrates strong Revit, MEP skills from markups through production of detailed drawings.
- Exhibits proficiency in trade specific design and c calculation software including energy analysis software (eQuest, Trace, etc.
