Job Description
- Good understanding of complex
power calculation and estimation, electrical
concepts like three phase power calculations.
- Design and review of electrical
distribution systems for industrial, residential and commercial building applications .
- Preparation/ checking of single
line diagram with protection and metering requirement.
- Preparation/ checking of detailed
calculation for major electrical equipment like transformer, DG’s, Capacitor
bank, UPS, Battery & Battery charger, Neutral Grounding resistor, etc.
- Preparation/ checking of detailed
design calculation for earthing, lighting, cable sizing, cable tray/ trench sizing,
Fire alarm
system, telephone system, public address system, lightning Protection,electrical
Load list, cable schedule etc.
- Vendor document review (Electrical
equipment).
- Knowledge on electrical schematics,
wiring diagrams, and other technical documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineer.
- 6+
year's experience in Electrical Design into Industrial/Commercial/Residential projects.
- Proficiency with electrical design
software such as AutoCAD Electrical, Etap, DIALux, etc are desirable.
- Familiarity with industry standards
and regulations, such as NEC, NBC, IS, IEC, and UL.
Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- 6+ years of electrical design experience in industrial, commercial, or residential projects
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, DIALux, or similar electrical design software
- Familiarity with NEC, NBC, IS, IEC, and UL standards and regulations
