WE’RE HIRING: Electrical Design Engineer II
Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico | Remote
Are you an experienced engineer passionate about electrical power systems and product design?
We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer II to join a company specializing in electrical power distribution equipment and power solutions. This role is ideal for an engineer with experience designing electromechanical products, developing manufacturing drawings, and supporting engineering projects from concept through production release.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop electromechanical products and assemblies based on customer specifications and technical requirements.
Create and update 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
Prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs), fabrication drawings, assembly instructions, and engineering documentation.
Support Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and maintain accurate product data.
Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and application engineering teams.
Ensure designs comply with applicable engineering standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field preferred.
At least 2 years of experience in product design, electrical power equipment, or electromechanical systems.
Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
Understanding of electromechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.
Experience with ERP systems and BOM management; Epicor is preferred.
Knowledge of UL and NEC standards is a plus.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
Work Arrangement
Remote position.
Candidates must currently reside in Guadalajara, Jalisco, México.
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
