Boeing Global Serives(BGS) is currently looking for an Electrical Automated Test Engineer to join their team in Berkeley, MO. This position is available in the Automated Test Equipment group within Boeing Engineering, Support and Sustainment, which is part of Boeing Global Services (BGS).
Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate and Mid-Level Electrical Automated Test Engineers.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Design electrical support hardware for multiple platforms conforming to various specifications, both military and commercial. Design would be, but not limited to, interface cables, test panels, electrical test sets, electronic testers, and interface devices
  • Work from a requirement and convert that requirement into high quality Automated Test hardware
  • Create requirements to write Test Program Sets (TPS) to test a Unit Under Test (UUT)
  • Develop supplier procurement packages
  • Interface with multiple disciplines, including Supplier Management and Procurement, Logistics Engineering, Technical Publications, Training, Quality Assurance, and others
  • Generate estimates and statements of work to support customer proposals
  • Demonstrate knowledge/experience with DSP card design or other circuit board design
  • Accomplish equipment design, generate drawings, and support hardware fabrication, integration and testing
  • Investigate emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements
  • Support fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle
  • Assist suppliers with fabricating to our engineering drawings
  • This job includes working with both internal and external customers
  • This position will require a candidate that is a self-starter with initiative, as the candidate must be able to work independently while effectively coordinating with stakeholders to ensure timely completion of tasks

Some travel may be required to accomplish necessary technical communications or install and/or troubleshooting of equipment, including international travel to Saudi Arabia and South Korea.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • Proficiency in either C, C++, or C#
  • 1+ years of experience with electronic systems engineering

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • 3+ years of higher education and/or related work experience (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc.)
  • Experience with modern Automatic Test System and Test Program Set hardware and software
  • Experience programing in C++
  • Experience in electrical design
  • Use of Unigraphics or other drafting CAD tools, DxDesigner
  • Use of oscilloscope, multi-meter and other lab equipment
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite of tools
  • Project management skills
  • Military Experience

Summary pay range (Associate): $91,800 - $124,200
Summary pay range (Mid-Level): $112,200 - $151,800
