Description

We are seeking an experienced, self-directed Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) professional to lead day-to-day safety operations at our Fountain Inn facility.  This is not an entry-level position. The successful candidate will possess the experience and judgment necessary to operate independently and effectively from day one. You will be the face of EHS on the production floor, managing compliance activities, leading incident investigations, maintaining our JHA program, and providing the operational continuity that allows EHS leadership to focus on systems-level strategy and organizational improvement.

The right candidate has deep hands-on manufacturing experience, an instinct for hazard recognition, and the credibility to build trust with technicians, engineers, and leadership alike. You bring rigor to compliance work, professionalism to contractor interactions, and a continuous improvement mindset to everything in between.

  •  Document findings and develop corrective and preventive action (CAPA) plans to mitigate recurrence and improve operational performance.
  • Ensure OSHA recordkeeping obligations are met and records are accurately maintained
  • Collaborate with EHS Director on trend analysis and systemic corrective action initiatives

Training & Hazard Communication

  • Deliver and document required EHS training to facility personnel, including new hire orientation, topic-specific regulatory training, and refresher training
  • Support the development and rollout of training content in coordination with the EHS Director
  • Ensure SDS library and hazard communication program are current and compliant

EHS Systems & Reporting

  • Serve as the Fountain Inn site administrator for EHS Insight, ensuring data integrity, timely entry, and effective use of the platform for inspections, incidents, and training records
  • Manage Avetta and ISN portal obligations including profile maintenance, document uploads, and audit responses
  • Contribute to monthly and quarterly EHS reporting metrics and participate in cross-site EHS alignment activities
