As a EHS Specialist, you will manage the implementation and monitoring of all EHS programs, and overseeing the plant's EHS legal compliance. You will be located at Saltillo Plant, and report directly to our EHS Manager Senior.

Main Responsibilities
Coordinate with Operations to manage resources and ensure compliance with EHS program improvements, development, and site legal requirements.
Coordinate and ensure compliance with EHS goals.
Train personnel in applicable safety and hygiene matters, or ensure training is delivered within their scope.
Ensure compliance with all legal requirements related to health, safety, and the environment.
Support the implementation and reporting of the site's drill program.
Participate in incident investigations and manage cause analyses.
Manage emergency response training programs, ensuring at least 90% participation.
Implement and maintain the PPG Safety Management System.
Coordinate occupational health programs in collaboration with the medical service team.
Implement preventive and control measures in safety, hygiene, and environmental protection to ensure working conditions for personnel and facilities.
Ensure implementation and monitoring of corporate-level regulations and procedures within the plant.
Comply with all requirements from governmental agencies and certification bodies related to applicable EHS matters.
Qualifications
Education required: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in similar positions
Required Qualifications:
Knowledge of regulations related to safety, environmental protection, and health/hygiene (preferably within the chemical or automotive industry).
Experience in the legal aspects of EHS (safety, civil protection, SEMARNAT).
Intermediate level of English.
