Lead EHS program for a manufacturing site by conducting inspections, developing policies/procedures, delivering training, monitoring compliance, maintaining environmental records, and managing a team of safety professionals.

Qualifications

Required Skills/Abilities: 

  • Extensive knowledge of environmental regulations and policies. 

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software. 

  • Manages a team of safety professionals. 

  • Previous manufacturing site safety preferred 

  • Working knowledge of environmental reports ie. Air, SWPPP, SPCC, ERIC 

Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Safety, Occupational Safety and Health, or STEM related field 

  • Five years of related experience preferred. 

  • Certification in EHS preferred. 

Physical Requirements: 

  • Physically able to conduct inspections and carry equipment used for inspections. 

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. 

  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time. 

  • Must be able to work in extreme temperatures. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bilingual preferred

  • Structured and Organized 

Skills Required
