Education & Quality Assurance Specialist

If yes, Lakemary is looking for an Education & Quality Assurance Specialist for our Children's Residential Service Program. This position will work closely with the Education Administration Registrar and Principal. This position will be responsible for the duties that support best practices in the delivery of services. This role functions under general supervision of the Senior Director of Enterprise Risk & Quality Assurance.
Education & Quality Assurance Specialist Responsibilities:
- Monitor quality standards across the Children's Department
- Identify areas of risk and escalate as appropriate
- Conduct auditing and data analysis to support QA initiatives
- Maintain licensing and accreditation compliance
- Ensure regulatory and compliance alignment
Behavioral Incident Review
- Video Review -Review every restraint that occurs in the residence to ensure the safety of clients and staff and to confirm that staff followed trained intervention protocols.

Treatment Team Collaboration -Collaborate with each child's treatment team to ensure necessary data is collected accurately and submitted timely.
Education Compliance & Reporting
- Out-of-State Education Management — Gather, compile, and enter data to manage out-of-state education requirements.
- ESI Notifications — Send ESI notifications to guardians and submit KS ESI reports in accordance with KSDE regulations.
- School District Renewals — Assist with school district renewals for all states served.
- Regulatory Knowledge — Maintain a current understanding of, and compliance with, KDADS PRTF, CARF, and KSDE regulations
Quality Assurance & Utilization Review Support
- UR/QA Assistance — Assist with internal utilization review and quality assurance efforts.
- Program Improvement — Help identify barriers and opportunities for program improvement, and work with others to recommend program changes and specific improvements.
Licensing & Credentialing
- Credentialing Tracking — Update and maintain credentialed staff licensing and staffing lists, including tracking AB1172 training dates.

- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

- Ability to complete multiple tasks within a given timeframe
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Clear, friendly written and verbal communication skills

Education & Quality Assurance Specialist Qualifications:
- Three years experience working with children with developmental and intellectual disabilities preferred.
- Be at least 18+ years of age
Other Job Details:
- Day Hours: Monday through Friday 8am-4:30pm
- Starting pay: $ 16.50/hour
