Role Purpose

Reporting to the Student Placement Manager at the Melbourne branch you will be responsible for providing student placement support and visa guidance to AECC Global international students for the Indian sub-continent student market here in Australia

What Does This Opportunity Mean for You

We receive a large number of enquiries from our students. You will be responsible for counselling these enquiries and selling our services, over the phone, email & in person.

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: 

  • Deliver high quality customer service/experience by understanding and meeting students’ needs
  • Focus on growing the Indian Subcontinent student market
  • Achieve excellent customer service by proactively responding to student queries and guiding them on their study and visa needs.
  • Achieve individual student placement target by applying effective sales conversion techniques
  • Tracking and managing lead (enquiries) and student life cycle pipeline on company Customer Relationship Management platform
  • Increase referrals from existing students and other student communities/events
  • Engagement activities with education institution representatives
  • Team skills and strong relationship-building skills.
  • Other related tasks as required by the business

Skills and Attributes Required

This role is heavily customer and sales focused in the International Education sector. You will be required to have the following experience/skills: 

  • Fluent in any one regional language either-Hindi/Punjabi/Gujarati/Telegu etc and English. Additional fluency in other regional languages will be highly preferred
  • A minimum of 1-2 years experience in the International Education Industry
  • QEAC Certified candidates would be preferred
  • Valid Australian visa with full time work rights (An active 485 visa or Permanent Residents only)
  • Be customer-centric and can work in a cross-cultural environment
  • Understand the needs of international students
  • Proven track record of strong sales achievement
  • Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, interpersonal
  • Demonstrated team player
  • Experience in using Customer Relationship Management platforms

Other Information

Candidates who have prior education counselling experience will be highly regarded.

Skills Required
