About the role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically adept Editorial Operations Specialist who is passionate about supporting processes that help teams produce best-in-class content at scale. This role is crucial in helping to execute day-to-day operations that ensure the smooth production and publication of content across multiple teams at GoodRx Health. This role will report to the Manager, Editorial Operations and work closely with content creators, editors, producers, designers, and SEOs in implementing existing and new standard operating procedures. The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, and eager to contribute to optimizing processes.
In this role, you will assist in maintaining and streamlining content workflows, ensuring that editorial projects are completed on time, and support the technical setup of systems, internal team documentation, and reporting on how the team is tracking towards goals and allocating resources. In addition to supporting day-to-day operations, you will also manage onboarding processes for new hires and support editorial staff with auxiliary projects like community outreach and content moderation.
Responsibilities:

  • Support the GoodRx Health editorial function by implementing operating procedures related to publishing, freelancer management, design, SEO, and Sales.
  • Run basic performance analyses to identify where bottlenecks in production may occur and suggest possible optimizations.
  • Prepare reports and presentations that provide insights into content production progress, workload distribution, and efficiency improvements.
  • Assist in setting up, updating, and maintaining project management tools, ensuring efficient incorporation into editorial workflows and compliance with IT, HR, and Finance policies.
  • Support day-to-day content production and governance initiatives by observing and checking in on various teams, responding to potential blocks, and providing operational assistance, as needed, to meet team goals.
  • Maintain editorial documentation (SOPs, style guides, editorial resources) to ensure accurate and consistent references for our internal and external staff.
  • Support onboarding of new staff, interns, and freelancers by preparing system access, workflow training materials, and documentation needed for smooth integration into the team.
  • Assist with oversight of our editorial internship program, including recruiting, onboarding, day-to-day management, and supporting the professional development of our interns.
  • Collaborate with our patient stories and drug info teams to manage community outreach and content moderation.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies like AI, and best practices in project management and content creation and incorporate relevant strategies into our editorial operations.


Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in editorial operations, project coordination, or a similar role, and a college degree.
  • Experience with project management tools like Asana, Airtable, or similar platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills and a proven ability to gather structured feedback and execute on detail-oriented tasks.
  • Demonstrated data analysis and reporting skills.
  • Proven ability to assess priorities, manage multiple tasks and timelines, and adapt in a fast-paced, high-growth environment to improve processes and drive impact.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact and build strong, collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams.
  • A self-starter who enjoys problem-solving and finding solutions to improve processes.
  • Hands-on experience with content publishing platforms (content management systems) and tools.
  • Familiarity with SEO and health publishing preferred.

At GoodRx, pay ranges are determined based on work locations and may vary based on where the successful candidate is hired. The pay ranges below are shown as a guideline, and the successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, and other relevant business and organizational factors. $77,000.00 - $122,000.00
New York Office:
$70,000.00 - $112,000.00
Santa Monica Office:
$64,000.00 - $102,000.00
Other Office Locations:
$58,000.00 - $92,000.00
