Role

Reorg, a provider of financial information on distressed and high-yield debt, is looking for an Editorial Operations Associate for its London office. Reorg is a fast-growing media company with opportunities for professional development in the editorial team. 

The Editorial Operations Associates are pivotal in our news coverage. They work within a team of experienced journalists, financial analysts and lawyers to help shape content and will be responsible for staying on top of the latest developments at more than 1300 companies across Europe, managing a calendar of key events and updating it as news happens, as well as providing the team with a daily press review.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor a wide range of online sources to ensure Reorg is the first to unearth information on high yield, distressed debt and restructuring situations across Europe
  • Support a team of experienced journalists, financial analysts and lawyers to help shape content
  • Help to manage a calendar of companies, updating it as news happens
  • Manage and monitor internal databases and contribute to project management processes
  • Maintain ongoing connections with company investor relations and private equity firms

Requirements

  • Excellent written and spoken English; a working knowledge of other European languages is a plus
  • Used to working in a fast-paced environment
  • Interest in financial news and markets
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience with Monday.com and/or other project management programs an advantage
