DUTIES:

  • Support and lead Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) initiatives, as part of the EDI team within North America, post SAP S4 implementation.
  • Support the planning and execution of the long-term initiatives for the EDI team.
  • Partner with business, Integrator, and IT teams to design, support, and implement EDI projects within the budgetary guidelines mutually agreed upon with IS Management and the relevant business areas
  • Work with a changing landscape – one that will evolve from Mainframe based systems (Gentran integrated to inhouse systems) to an SAP S4 Fashion solution integrated with the future EDI translator (O+IBM Sterling).
  • Lead the EDI efforts through the EDI Project Lifecycle.
  • Define and configure key processes that drive Sterling Integrator and Sterling EDI solutions, integration, and processes.
  • Map functional capabilities pf EDI partners to meet business requirements and internal solutions
  • For the ERP Program Long Term Support and upcoming projects, executes development, implementation, and continuous improvement programs and processes.
  • Provide on-call Support of EDI solutions.
  • Support issue and weekly progress reporting.
  • Identify and control areas of risk to drive resolution of issues.
  • Partner with OCM in the formulation of plans and activities to support project implementation and maintain high levels of communication (up, down, and across) and across brands.
  • Support EDI Manager to identify and plan IT driven growth opportunities and develop plans for executing and supporting initiatives, which may include sustaining, stretch, and breakthrough innovation.
  • Support of non-SAP Applications including Methodfuel, B2B , non-Sterling related EDI, etc.
  • Ensure consistent definition and compliance of security.
  • Partner with IT and SI Manager and Business Leads to ensure design meets requirements and gaps and/or issues are identified/resolved.
  • Execute the development, testing, planning and cutover execution of Business Partner EDI Configuration in Sterling and integration to SAP:
    • Customer EDI for Orders 850, Acknowledgement 855, ASN 856, Invoices 810 and other wholesale / retail transactions
    • Customer Service, Customer Master, Pricing, Order Management, Delivery Processing, Logistics/Distribution, Billing, Sales, Sales Reporting, Returns, STO, Inventory, Customer EDI and Reporting.
  • Manage own work and support other team members to achieve budget and schedule.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering or related technical field and 8 years of experience in in SAP/EDI Projects. Experience must include:

  • 5 years of experience in SAP SD/OTC Functional Configuration.
  • 8 years of experience in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio and Powerpoint.
  • 8 years of experience with EDI mappings (i.e. 850, 855, 856 and/ or 810).
  • 8 years of experience in Bulk Contracts, Sales Order Processing, Pricing, Logistics Execution, Billing, Remittance, Acknowledgement and ASN.
  • 8 years of experience with integration testing.
  • 8 years of experience with cutover planning and execution.
  • 8 years of experience in process validation, configuration, development, testing, planning and execution of the following:
  • Functional Specification (WRICEF).
  • Security Design related to Order to Cash Functionality.
  • Integration to external partners and other internal systems including eCommerce, EDI, WMS Solutions and B2B Integration.
  • 8 years of Sterling EDI Mapping experience.

100% remote; position may be performed anywhere in the US that Kontoor has a legal presence.

SALARY: $130,707 - $144,100/year
