Aspinal of London are looking for a Ecommerce Product Data Coordinator to be based in London.
The Ecommerce Product Data Coordinator will play a critical role in managing and optimising product data for the website. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely upload, maintenance, and presentation of product information across our digital platforms. Working closely with various teams including Merchandising, Production & Marketing, the role is key to ensuring our product listings are optimised for customer experience and searchability, ultimately driving online sales.
This role is a hybrid working opportunity but would be expected to attend our London office 1/2 days a week.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Data Management:
- Collect, input, and maintain accurate product information including descriptions, specifications, prices, and images for all products on the e-commerce platform.
- Ensure data is uploaded efficiently and aligned with product launch schedules.
- Monitor and verify product data to ensure consistency across all digital channels.
- Product Launches:
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure new product launches are executed seamlessly.
- Assist in planning product launches, ensuring all product pages are live and accurate before deadlines.
- Content Optimisation:
- Ensure product descriptions and meta-data are optimised for search engine visibility (SEO) and customer engagement.
- Manage content updates, ensuring product pages are optimised for sales and aligned with brand guidelines.
- Inventory and Pricing Management:
- Work closely with the Merchandising team to ensure product stock levels, pricing, and promotional changes are accurately reflected on the site.
- Manage product discontinuations and markdowns, ensuring smooth transitions.
- Troubleshooting & Testing:
- Identify and resolve any product-related issues, such as incorrect pricing, out-of-stock products, or data discrepancies.
- Assist in testing website functionalities related to product pages during platform updates or enhancements.
- Reporting and Analytics:
- Monitor product performance using various analytics tools and provide insights to inform business decisions.
- Produce regular reports on product page performance, including conversion rates, bounce rates, and customer feedback.
Key Requirements
- Experience:
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an e-commerce environment, preferably with a focus on product data management.
- Experience using e-commerce platforms (e.g., Magento, Shopify) and content management systems (CMS).
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data management tools.
- Familiarity with SEO principles and e-commerce best practices.
- Knowledge of Google Analytics or similar reporting tools is a plus.
- Attention to Detail:
- Strong focus on accuracy and thoroughness when managing large volumes of data.
- Time Management:
- Ability to prioritise tasks, meet tight deadlines, and work efficiently under pressure, especially during peak seasons.
- Communication & Collaboration:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work collaboratively across teams, managing multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
