Job Description

In this exciting opportunity, as eCommerce Manager, you will oversee the daily eCommerce operations, implement strategies, work closely with other departments, create and manage the team executions with the director of eCommerce. You will manage the day-to-day website responsibilities, ensuring its full accuracy and ensure smooth business operations.

In this role you will:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of our website to ensure that content, imagery, promotions, and data are accurate using the CMS system and PIM system
  • Oversee product and category trends, provide data analysis and determine actionable insights and make strategic recommendations to enhance eCommerce results
  • Collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams to ensure product data is optimized and merchandising efforts drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Spearhead new product updates and content deployments, ensure all on-site deliverables meet high experience standards and support the operations of new and current product initiatives
  • Continuously analyze the performance of the eCommerce site and utilize data to make informed decisions about future initiatives and site optimizations
  • Manage technical aspects related to eCommerce analytics, including the setup of A/B testing and maintenance of tracking pixels and other necessary tools to gather customer data effectively
  • Monitor and measure websites’ performance, conversion rates, and other critical metrics to guide strategic decisions
  • Collaborate with IT to address technical issues and ensure the robustness of the eCommerce platform
  • Collaborate with senior management and other department heads to develop eCommerce strategies
  • Oversee the integration of cross-departmental strategies
  • Lead the eCommerce team, setting clear goals, and ensuring they have the resources needed to succeed

Qualifications

The Qualifications and Experience with like to see:

  • University degree in Marketing, finance, business
  • 3-5 years business experience and a thorough knowledge of the ecommerce and related sale, marketing, merchandising and fulfillment functions
  • Experience with CMS (ie., Oracle Commerce Cloud, Shopify, Salesforce, WooCommerce), PIM, Google Analytics, Hotjar, SEO
  • Experience in management and / or digital marketing - an asset
  • Excellent analytical skills with strong ability to make data-driven decision
  • Excellent project management, technical, problem-solving, presentation, written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced skills in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot table, macro, etc.)
  • Detail oriented, highly organized and able to prioritize multiple projects in fast paced work environment with changing priorities and strict deadlines
  • Leader and a team player, able to influence, build relationships and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders
  • English written and spoken is mandatory, French-English bilingualism is an asset
