POSITION SUMMARY
The Ecommerce Lead Person is responsible for the activities within and around the Sales and Marketing of products in today’s digital marketplaces. Oversees people and activities that both establish and increase sales; Ensuring all products are marketed to achieve the best overall return per transaction. Sets pricing, handles product returns and defines freight policies. This is a hands-on position that works with others within the operation to achieve defined goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs all the duties of the Ecommerce Co-Ordinator
- Assembles pictures, documentation and FAB sheets for products for online posting
- Posts products for sale in various online marketplaces (examples are Amazon and eBay)
- Works with or Functions as a Shipping and Receiving agent for inbound and outbound shipments, may receive and check in freight as needed
- Monitors customer orders Daily with the objective of filling placed orders the same day as ordered
- Ensures any parts returned by any customers are appropriately inspected and if credit is due facilitates issuing credit
- Reinforces company policy on prepaying for special order parts and ensures the process is followed.
- Monitors online market activity and communicates changes to the supervisor
- Works with OEM representatives as needed
- Establishes pricing by component based on market knowledge
- Ensures strategic objectives and projects are completed on time within the scope of the project.
- Oversees other workers within the department
- Other Duties as assigned by Supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Prior experience managing projects and employees effectively and timely
- Experience posting products for sale in various online marketplaces
- Knowledgeable in basic business concepts to include product pricing structures and freight recovery
- Experience in Heavy Duty parts a plus (Researching part numbers, invoicing, add-on selling)
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Ability to work with others in a team environment and fosters healthy working relationships
- Ability to give and take directions in a fast-paced work environment
- Stays focused on and completes assigned tasks in a timely manner
- Consistency in reinforcing defined activities that drive desired results
