ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement end-to-end network architecting solutions.
Perform network modeling, analysis, and planning, including analysis of capacity needs for Nokia network infrastructures.
Evaluate network designs to determine whether customer requirements are met efficiently and effectively.
Build cloud native applications and microservices.
Customize network solutions, including customer-specific use cases, workflows, and algorithms.
Test automation that will be based on designed use cases to achieve customer acceptance.
Research and recommend network and data communications hardware and software.
Debug and troubleshoot issues with Nokia’s networks.
Telecommuting from a location within commuting distance of Dallas, TX may be permitted up to 3 days per week. #LI-DNI
QualificationsMust have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field, and 8 years of related work experience (5 years of which must be progressive, post-baccalaureate related work experience). Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field, and 6 years of related work experience.
Must have 6 years of experience designing network architecture, including core networks, radio access networks (RAN), transport networks, and network functions virtualization (NFV);
Must have 6 years of experience using 5G, LTE, IP/MPLS (Internet Protocol Multiprotocol Label Switching), SD-WAN, and cloud-native technologies;
Must have 6 years of experience integrating multi-business group solutions to ensure interoperability between different technology domains;
Must have 6 years of hands-on experience designing 5G slicing orchestration and network assurances solution for 5G slicing and VoLTE (Voice over LTE) networks;
Must have 6 years of experience designing end-to-end solutions, including system architecture, technical blueprints, and roadmaps; and
Must have 6 years of experience adapting network architecture solutions to address business needs.
Telecommuting from a location within commuting distance of Dallas, TX may be permitted up to 3 days per week.
Domestic travel required up to 20%.
