About the role

We're hiring our first Operations Lead to build our supply engine from scratch — owning what we buy, how we hold it, and how it ships. This is a hands-on role with end-to-end ownership of sourcing, inventory, and fulfillment, working with a lean team and AI tooling rather than a large org.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage sourcing and purchasing of physical goods for the U.S. market.
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, distributors, brokers, and inventory partners.
  • Evaluate product opportunities based on cost, margin, quality, resale potential, and operational complexity.
  • Own inventory tracking, purchase planning, stock visibility, and product handoff to sales channels.
  • Coordinate with 3PL, warehouse, shipping, and logistics partners.
  • Monitor key operational metrics: margin, inventory turnover, fulfillment cost, sell-through, returns, and supplier reliability.
  • Build simple, scalable, AI-first processes for purchasing, inventory management, fulfillment, and reporting.
  • Work closely with the founder on operational priorities and business execution.

What you'll need

  • 3+ years in US e-commerce / physical consumer-goods / dropshipping operations, with real ownership of inventory and fulfillment.
  • Strong understanding of physical goods operations in the U.S. market.
  • 3PL management: SLAs, receiving, returns, carrier and fulfillment cost negotiation.
  • Strong inventory and working-capital instincts — turnover, demand planning, cash efficiency.
  • Data fluency — you can read a manifest, model a pallet's P&L, and live in spreadsheets.
  • A 0-to-1 builder mindset — scrappy, high ownership, comfortable building from scratch in ambiguity.
  • AI-first mindset and hands-on experience using AI tools at work.

Skills Required
