As the Dynamics Development Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Support the hands-on development and refinement of vehicle dynamic attributes such as steering feel, handling response, ride quality, and braking performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to tune suspension components including bushings, dampers, and geometry for optimal performance.
Participate in on-site vehicle testing at various proving grounds to assess and iterate on key vehicle dynamics systems.
Analyze test data to evaluate system behavior and drive improvements in compliance, balance, and responsiveness.
Translate subjective driver feedback into actionable engineering targets and solutions.
Qualifications:
3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the automotive industry with a strong emphasis on vehicle dynamics, suspension design, or chassis development.
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent practical experience in the field.
Hands-on knowledge of suspension systems, kinematics & compliance, and chassis tuning is essential.
Salary Range: $100,000 - $109,000
The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
