Dynamics 365 Functional Lead (Sales & Field Service)
Location: Columbia, MD
Our client, a leading global technology manufacturer, is seeking a Senior Dynamics 365 Functional Lead to bridge the gap between the business and its Dynamics 365 Sales and Field Service platforms. This is a business-facing role for someone who understands how sales and service teams work and knows how to shape Dynamics 365 to support them.
What You’ll Do
Partner with Sales, Service, and Operations leaders to gather requirements, map business processes, and translate them into clear functional designs. Configure and refine Dynamics 365 Sales and Field Service, lead workshops and solution walkthroughs, support testing and go-live, and drive user adoption. Work alongside IT, system integrators, and Microsoft to ensure delivered solutions meet business needs, and recommend ongoing improvements as the platform evolves.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of hands-on functional experience with Dynamics 365 Sales and Field Service modules
- Background as a business analyst, functional consultant, or CRM lead
- Strong skills in requirements gathering, process mapping, and solution configuration
- Experience supporting UAT, training, and user adoption
- Excellent written and verbal communication, including with senior leadership
- Ability to manage priorities independently and work across business, IT, and vendor teams
Nice to Have
Microsoft certifications such as MB-210, MB-240, or PL-200; familiarity with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate); exposure to Copilot or other AI features in Dynamics 365; Power BI experience.
