Department

You will join the Marketing & Distribution Services (MDS) team and become part of an Agile/DevOps team of IT professionals who deliver high value technology solution. In this role, you will support and continuously improve Robeco’s Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform, a business-critical application that enables key processes across Marketing, Sales, and Client Services. The platform plays a central role in managing client relationships and communications, supporting sales and marketing initiatives, and facilitating client onboarding and servicing activities throughout the client lifecycle.

The financial sector continues to evolve rapidly, driven by increasing regulation, higher expectations around transparency and growing demand for digital-first services. Working closely with business stakeholders, you will help ensure that Dynamics 365 remains stable, secure, user-friendly and aligned with business needs.

Position & Requirements

As a Dynamics 365 Application Engineer, you will act as the bridge between business users and technology. Your primary focus is supporting, configuring, maintaining and improving the Dynamics 365 platform rather than developing custom software.

  • Provide functional and technical support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 users.
  • Investigate and resolve incidents, service requests and platform issues.
  • Configure and maintain Dynamics 365 entities, forms, views, dashboards, business rules, security roles and workflows.
  • Support and optimize business processes within Dynamics 365.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into platform improvements.
  • Configure and maintain Power Platform solutions, including Power Automate and Power Apps.
  • Coordinate and support testing activities, including regression testing and user acceptance testing.
  • Monitor platform health, identify recurring issues and drive continuous improvements.
  • Manage application releases and support deployments to production environments.
  • Maintain documentation, knowledge articles and operational procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, external suppliers and business stakeholders in an Agile way of working.
  • Actively contribute to improving support processes, user experience and platform stability.
  • Support adoption of new Microsoft Dynamics and Power Platform capabilities, including AI-powered features.
What you bring

You are customer-focused, service-minded, analytical and solution-oriented. You enjoy helping users, solving problems and continuously improving business processes. You communicate clearly, manage stakeholder expectations effectively and feel comfortable working in an international environment.

  • BSc or MSc in Information Technology, Business Information Management, Software Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of Dynamics 365 configuration and administration.
  • Several years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, such as Sales, Customer Service, Marketing or Customer Insights.
  • Experience with Power Platform, including Power Automate and Power Apps.
  • Experience with supporting business-critical applications in a professional environment including incident management, problem management and root cause analysis.
  • Understanding of CRM processes within Sales, Marketing and Client Service domains.
  • Experience with testing, release management and change management.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps or comparable work management tooling.
  • Good command of both Dutch and English, written and spoken.
  • Available at least 32 hours per week with 60% on-site presence.

  • A collaborative and inclusive team culture.
  • A modern Microsoft technology landscape and meaningful work with direct impact on business users and clients.
  • Opportunities to work with Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Copilot and AI-driven solutions.
