We are looking for a talented and experienced DWH Senior Specialist to join our team and contribute to the development and enhancement of our Data & AI Department.

This role is a hybrid position that combines functional analysis with hands-on development, ensuring the successful delivery of data-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders, translate requirements into technical solutions, and develop efficient PL/SQL-based applications within our Oracle Data Warehouse environment.

What you’ll do:

• You will analyze and interpret business requirements to design efficient and scalable data warehouse solutions.

• You will ensure the effective implementation, maintenance, and optimization of data warehouse systems.

• You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into data solutions.

• You will create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data warehouse systems and solutions.

• You will play a key role in the upcoming data governance initiatives, supporting data quality and compliance efforts.

• You will troubleshoot, optimize, and improve data warehouse systems as needed to meet evolving business needs.

What you'll bring:

• Minimum of 2-5 years experience as a Data Functional Analyst (DWH, Business Intelligence) or within a Data Governance team.

• Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL, data modeling, ETL tools, and data warehousing concepts.

• You are highly skilled in SQL and possess a deep understanding of data modeling and ETL processes.

• Experience using tools as GITHUB, or Confluence.

• Knowledge of Data Governance concepts (data catalog, data quality, data observability).

• Knowledge of Data Warehouse concepts (dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schema, fact & dimension tables).

• Experience with version control and collaboration tools like GIT, Collibra, Alation, or Confluence.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to handle complex datasets.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.

• Proficient in English, both written and spoken. Fluency in Italian is a plus.

Preferably, you also have:

• You have experience with cloud-based data warehouse platforms such as AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Azure Synapse.

• You have knowledge of data governance frameworks and best practices.

• You are familiar with Agile or Scrum methodologies.

• Understanding of BI/reporting tools is a plus

• A Master’s degree in a relevant discipline is preferred but not required.
