Job DescriptionAs a Due Diligence Senior Analyst, you will be working within the Due Diligence teams reviewing Platform clients.
Given the elevated risks posed by platform services you will need the ability to review client Financial Crime Systems and Controls frameworks, identify deficiencies and respectively mitigate associated risks. You will be expected to conduct client interviews with senior compliance members, deep dive into client business models, identify downstream risks and apply targeted Enhanced Due Diligence where appropriate.
You will also be expected to document and present investigation findings succinctly to Senior Stakeholders, relaying key information on risks and mitigating actions for leadership/ MLRO approval.
Stakeholder and client management skills are key to the success of this role as you will be expected to liaise with both Internal and external stakeholders throughout the due diligence journey.
Well-versed in anti-financial crime regulatory requirements in a given region EMEA/ APAC/ MENA
Strong technical knowledge of:
- Correspondent banking products/ services knowledge, including different payment schemes and payment channels.
- Ability to conduct financial crime control framework risk assessments.
- Enhanced Due Diligence and transactional analysis with respect to correspondent services, MSBs and PSP’s
- Strong payments knowledge.
- Well-versed in handling complex Enhanced Due Diligence reviews.
- The ability to effectively apply a Risk Based Approach.
- Experience reviewing payment flows.
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
- Strong attention to detail and good judgment.
- Able to work independently and to appropriately prioritize.
- Ability to coach and mentor junior analysts on KYC processes and stakeholder engagement.
- Holds relevant professional qualifications.
