Job DescriptionWe are seeking a professional and efficient DTH1 - DriverExpress to join our team in Erfurt, Germany. As a DriverExpress, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to our valued customers.
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages and goods to various destinations in Erfurt and surrounding areas
- Plan and optimise delivery routes for maximum efficiency
- Load and unload packages with care, ensuring proper handling of all items
- Use smartphone applications and GPS technology for navigation and delivery tracking
- Provide excellent customer service, including obtaining signatures and handling basic inquiries
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and any issues encountered during shifts
- Conduct basic vehicle maintenance checks and report any problems promptly
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch and other team members to ensure smooth operations
- Represent the company professionally at all times while on duty
- License Class B
- Preferably 1 year of driving experience
- Clean driving record with no traffic violations
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanour
- Proficiency in using smartphone applications and GPS navigation tools
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred but not required
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Paid training of 2 days
- Routes are 8/9 hours
- Work equipment provided (clothes and phone also for private usage)
- Modern vehicles
- Good working conditions (shipments not heavier than 15kg)
