Duties and Responsibilities:
- Communicate professionally and effectively over the phone, via email, and in-person to all customers, carriers and team members
- Verify final carrier charges for drayage and intermodal (IMDL) shipments by reviewing supporting documentation, including Proofs of Delivery (PODs), updating shipment expenses in the Transportation Management System (TMS), and assisting with carrier billing disputes and discrepancies.
- Review carrier Statements of Account (SOAs) to ensure accounts are current, reconcile outstanding balances, and resolve billing discrepancies with carrier partners.
- Collaborate with the Drayage Accounting team and FitzMark Accounting to ensure the accurate processing of carrier payables, customer billing, and financial inquiries.
- Review the Delivered Load Board to ensure completed shipments progress through the billing and settlement process in a timely manner.
- Cross-train with Drayage and Intermodal (IMDL) operations representatives to provide operational support and backfill coverage as needed.
- Continuously build and increase your industry knowledge
Skills Required
- Professional communication skills (phone, email, in-person)

- Familiarity using a Transportation Management System (TMS) and updating shipment expenses
- Ability to review and reconcile carrier Statements of Account (SOAs) and resolve billing discrepancies
- Ability to collaborate with accounting and drayage teams to process payables and customer billing
- Willingness to cross-train with operations and provide backfill coverage as needed
- Ability to work on site Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Chattanooga office)
