Frigate Support Contractor: Configuration Manager - Senior

SBSA/PSS include: Acquisition & Program Management; Business & Financial Management; and Configuration & Data Management.
Job summary: The subject position supports NAVSEA’s PEO USC new construction program office (PMS 515) for the construction of CONSTELLATION Class Guided Missile Frigate (FFG 62). This position is contingent upon contract award.
Description: Responsible for configuration management issues associated with maintaining and controlling all hardware inventory, documentation, product releases, and software configuration management. Individual shall also work closely with the Configuration Control Board in defining and implementing procedures for releasing new products throughout the entire life cycle. Individual shall provide change management and product configuration management guidance.
Minimum Requirements:
- US Citizen
- Active DoD Secret Clearance
- Degree: Bachelor's degree in any field
- Experience: 15 years of experience in Navy shipbuilding and defense systems
- Specialized Experience: Experience in Navy's shipbuilding CM processes
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience: 20 years of experience in Navy shipbuilding and defense systems
- Specialized Experience: Experience in managing CM among ship platform level and systems level. Familiarity with CM within the Siemens Teamcenter environment
Work Location: Contractor Site / Washington Navy Yard, Washington, DC
Work Schedule: The position maybe eligible for an alternative work schedule and/or telework, depending upon Government direction at contract award.
