The Role:
Working within our busy Facilities department at our Head Office in Enderby, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness across the site. You will ensure a comfortable, hygienic, and high-standard environment for all of our employees and visitors.
What You'll Take On:
- Cleaning and sanitising designated areas, including offices, meeting rooms, common areas, and toilets, according to established standards and schedules.
- Vacuuming, emptying bins, cleaning surfaces, windows, and washrooms, alongside other general cleaning duties as required.
- Safely using cleaning materials, chemicals, and equipment, fully abiding by COSHH and health and safety regulations at all times.
- Replenishing supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.
- Monitoring cleaning supply inventories, reporting any shortages, equipment malfunctions, or maintenance issues and safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Assisting with the setup and cleanup for events, meetings, and conferences.
- Collaborating with the wider facilities team to ensure smooth, efficient operations and a positive working environment.
What You'll Bring:
- Proven experience in a cleaning role, ideally within a corporate or professional setting.
- Solid knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, safety protocols, and techniques.
- Strong attention to detail with a real passion for high housekeeping standards.
- A positive attitude, a flexible approach, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good communication skills and strong time management capabilities.
- Physical stamina, with the ability to perform repetitive tasks, lift heavy objects, and stand for extended periods.
