As a Domain Technical Project Manager at Nokia, you will lead and deliver custom software development projects in the telecom domain. You will collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to define project goals while managing project scope, timelines, and resources. Your responsibilities include facilitating communication, conducting architecture discussions, ensuring quality standards, and integrating Agile practices.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, objectives, and deliverables.
- Develop a comprehensive Project Management Plan detailing scope, timelines, resources, and budget.
- Facilitate communications between technical teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment.
- Oversee project documentation and reporting to track progress and outcomes.
- Participate in architecture discussions and design reviews to align with design metrics.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively to ensure smooth delivery.
- Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders and drive integration of Agile practices to enhance team collaboration and productivity.
Must-Have:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree or equivalent with10+ years of experience in delivering software development projects with 5+ years as a Technical Project Manager.
- Experience playing progressive roles in Telecom Mobile Core or RAN Network Function SW Development projects – from Developer to Project Manager
- Proficiency in Agile frameworks, including practical experience with Scrum and Kanban, Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, Daily Stand-ups, and Sprint reviews.
- Expertise in defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with project goals, project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, SharePoint.
Nice-To-Have:
- Knowledge of cloud technologies and familiarity with Lean practices for process improvement.
- Experience on Cloud Infra viz., Red Hat OCP, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud
