Job Description

As a Domain Specialist in the Digital Business Unit for Oil & Gas, you will serve as a subject matter expert, aligning Sensia’s digital technologies with customer needs and industry requirements.

You’ll play a critical role in supporting sales opportunities, guiding solution design, contributing to product innovation, and ensuring effective project execution.

Your deep domain knowledge will help shape our offerings to create maximum value for clients and position Sensia as a leader in digital oilfield solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide domain expertise guiding technology development for features which best create value.
• Augment pursuit teams, providing domain expertise to crystallize the value of solutions for Sensia’s customers.
• Active participation in industry associations, create stories, author white papers creating domain image for Sensia
• Oversight of project team solution configurations applying expertise to ensure the application settings and configurations are accomplished correctly (set points, ranges, alarming, control logic)
• Actively participate with sales performing demos and engage in client meetings as required.
• Participate in IP development, setting strategies, participating in patent teams creating differentiation for Sensia solutions in the discipline.

The Individual

• 10 years experience in engineering roles in specific discipline
• Hands-on field experience in Oil & Gas applications within a relevant discipline.
• Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate type of engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, Electrical etc.)
• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative, process-driven environment.
• Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills – both written and verbal
• Solid understanding of commercial and business dynamics in the energy sector.
