In addition, you will be an effective, inclusive people manager who is an advisor, driver and doer. You will personally lead end-to-end communications planning and production, while providing clear, practical counsel and executional support to partners across the firm. - Provide senior counsel and leadership to DOI clients, partners, and stakeholders across the firm—setting cohesive strategies and best practices, mitigating risk, and ensuring clear, consistent communications that protect the brand and build trust.
- Lead executive communications (often on tight timelines), including talking points, speeches/remarks, Q&As, briefing materials, and rapid-response messaging.
- Support issues management and crisis readiness for DOI narratives through risk assessment, scenario planning, escalation pathways, and holding statements/stakeholder materials, driving alignment and delivery in a matrixed, cross-functional environment.
Lead communication processes from intake through final delivery, maintaining strong content governance and editorial workflows that improve quality, speed, and stakeholder experience.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

- Strategic leader and trusted advisor who can shape cohesive communications strategies, standards, and best practices—and influence effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
- Senior-level media relations and external communications experience, including proactive and reactive press engagement, strong judgment, and established relationships with media/press outlets.
- Strong executive communications skills for sensitive topics and challenging audiences, including talking points, speeches/remarks, Q&As, and briefing materials.
- Exceptional writer and editor with the ability to distill complex, reputation-sensitive topics and data into clear, compelling messaging tailored by audience and channel.
- People leader and operator who sets a high bar, builds disciplined team processes, and reliably delivers accurate, executive-ready work across multiple priorities with discretion and strong attention to detail.
