DOCUMENTATION SPECIALIST

Horizon Industries Limited (Horizon) is a dynamic IT and Management Consulting firm based in the Washington, DC area and we are currently seeking a Documentation Specialist for a full-time position remotely supporting the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA).
Required Experience :
- Five (5) years relevant experience
- Gathers, analyzes, and composes technical information.
- Conducts research and ensures the use of proper technical terminology.
- Translates technical information into clear, readable documents to be used by technical and nontechnical personnel.
- For applications built to run in a Windows environment, uses the standard help compiler to prepare all online documentation.
- Demonstrated experience and ability to work independently or under only general direction.
- Experience in technical writing and documentation pertaining to all aspects of IT.
- Experience in preparing technical documentation, including conducting research on applicable standards.
Position Sensitivity:
- Non-Critical Sensitive (Formerly IT-II or IT-2)
- Investigation Requirements: Must possess a favorable Tier 3 (T3) NACLC/ANACI at time of proposal submission.
Salary range : $63K
