Role overview

As the Documentation Specialist you will be in charge of food and ingredient related documents for Calo. You will ensure the various streams within the business can easily access content which is up to date and accurate. The library of documents - hard copy and digital - are managed logically and according to relevance. You will also create, design and maintain the framework for document processing and maintain procedures that enforce the proper chain of action for document control.

Main Responsibilities

  • Store, manage and track food documents
  • Design an efficient method in storing documents and document control
  • Collaborate with the operational team concerned to review and update food related documents (e.g. recipes specifications)
  • Frequently conduct document audits to maintain their accuracy
  • Maintain confidentiality around sensitive information.
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports on projects as needed
  • Retrieving files for other employees and customers when needed
  • Designing templates for documents, file types, and document databases
  • Assist with the file migrations and audits, and perform administrative tasks as needed
  • Collaborate and communicate with managers and project leaders

Ideal Candidate

  • Enjoys being part of a team who work to learn, improve and support each other on a daily basis
  • Has a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Document Controller or similar role
  • Able to communicate proficiently in both verbal and written English
  • Hands-on experience with MS Office and MS Excel
  • Proficient typing and editing skills
  • Confident, details oriented, energetic, and able to work on multiple proje
