We are currently searching for a dynamic, self-starting Documentation Specialist to complete a Risk Assessment Excel database spreadsheet through collaboration with cross functional teams.
Work Location: Sterling Heights, MI 48313 (Fully On-Site)
Job Description:
- Complete a Risk Assessment database (a unique Microsoft Excel spreadsheet / database for each of our customer projects that defines the characteristics of each task performed by an automated tool) for our manufacturing engineering of general assembly machinery projects.
- Work with all internal and customer functional groups to coordinate, document, maintain, and present required information within the Risk Assessment database.
- Gather data from Product Databases, Process Databases and Material Spreadsheets to complete this project document.
- Develop & maintain excellent relationships with customers, teammates & suppliers.
- Work in collaborative meeting settings to document information being given.
- Maintain a database / Microsoft Excel document of pertinent tool specific information.
- Contribute to project lessons learned and updating templates to ensure errors are contained.
- Assist in building and maintaining standardized work instructions for the position.
- Complete all work in a timely manner with an emphasis on attention to detail.
- Demonstrate a commitment to safe work practices while on HTI Cybernetics or the customer’s premises.
- Other duties as assigned.
Work Hours:
40 hours per week - Monday - Friday
Start time is flexible from 6:00am - 8:00am
Requirements
What you will bring:
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office programs especially Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to interact professionally with customers and maintain a positive working relationship with all members of a team.
- Ability to work onsite within the HTI offices or at customer locations as required.
- Knowledge of Teamcenter software is a plus
- Knowledge of 3D CAD systems (AutoCAD, NX, etc.) is a plus
- Knowledge and skills in automotive assembly is a plus
