- Work Schedule: Scheduled hours between 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
Primary Duties & Tasks:
- Design and develop CBTs using engaging
activities, quizzes, and interactions via Articulate 360 and Adobe Captivate.
- Apply scenario-based learning
techniques, adult learning theory, and instructional design best practices.
- Create compelling graphics (logos,
banners, flyers, job aids) using Canva, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Create and edit audio and video for
websites and CBTs using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Captivate, and
Articulate 360.
- Independently create storyboards,
follow project schedules, manage workloads, and communicate effectively with
team members.
- Support special initiatives for the
agency and Organizational Development Office.

Requirements
Education & Experience:
- 1 to 2 years of experience and/or
working knowledge of instructional design, curriculum development, adult
education, performance improvement, graphic design, or multimedia related
subjects.
- Bachelor’s degree in instructional
design, curriculum development, adult education, graphic/digital design, or
related fields.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Proficiency in multimedia development
tools, specifically Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Captivate, and Articulate 360.
- Knowledge of instructional design,
adult learning, creative design trends, and 508 Electronic and Information
Technology Standards.
- Skill in utilizing the Microsoft
Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
- Strong critical thinking,
problem-solving, data analysis, and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written
communication skills for interacting with customers, colleagues, and project
teams.
- High level of initiative to organize
workloads, meet deadlines, and monitor situations with minimal direction.
- Adaptability and flexibility to
receive constructive criticism, embrace process changes, and maintain positive
relationships.
Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in instructional design, curriculum development, adult education, graphic/digital design, or related field
- 1 to 2 years experience or working knowledge in instructional design, curriculum development, adult education, performance improvement, graphic design, or multimedia
- Proficiency with Articulate 360
- Proficiency with Adobe Captivate
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects)
- Experience creating graphics and assets using Canva
- Knowledge of instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and scenario-based learning
- Familiarity with 508 Electronic and Information Technology accessibility standards
- Skill with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
- Ability to create storyboards, manage project schedules, meet deadlines independently, and communicate effectively with teams
