A direct Minneapolis, MN client is seeking a Document Management Business Analyst.
This position will start ASAP and is anticipated to go through 6/30/2015.
Position Overview:
The client seeks a Document Management Business Analyst for its Collaboration and Web Content Service team. This position will work with a team of people who are responsible for supporting and growing our enterprise document management environment (Perceptive Software Image Now Content/Document Management Application). The successful candidate will have strong business analysis and verbal and written communication skills as well as experience with Perceptive Software Image Now Content/Document Management Application.
Job Duties:
• Analyze and evaluate the needs of our business units and help align technology solutions with short and long-term business strategies.
• Design document management solutions (e.g. workflows) to meet business units’ needs and best practices.
• Test designed solutions before they are released; coordinate testing with business units.
• Configure and troubleshoot our enterprise document management environment.
• Provide tier 3 technical support in partnership with end user support professionals.
• Evaluate and follow through on issues and problems until resolved or escalated.
• Document and evaluate issue patterns to plan and recommend process improvements.
• Provide training and technical guidance to end users.
Qualifications-
Required Skills:
• A bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2 or more years of experience working in the areas of business or systems analysis; 4 years of experience working in business or systems analysis with a non-related bachelor’s degree.
• 1 or more years of experience with Perceptive Software Image Now Content/Document Management Application.
• Experience with testing cross-browser, cross-platform, and/or cross-device compatibility for inconsistencies.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with PeopleSoft.
• Experience managing small projects.
• Familiarity/experience with Windows 2008 Server, code deployment, troubleshooting, and task scheduling.
• Experience working in a university environment.
