Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Document Controller to join Qiddiya’s Tree Procurement Unit! In this role you will get to perform a specialized document control function, working collaboratively with the QIC Horticulture team to manage project documentation across its full lifecycle.
What You'll Be Doing:- Act as a point of contact for project teams regarding document control-related issues
- Coordinate with document control management for EDMS configuration and support requests
- Participate in quality audits in coordination with QA/QC and relevant stakeholders
- Support the development and rollout of document control tools and systems
- Provide input to document control management on requirements, improvements, and reporting
- Attend regular coordination meetings with internal teams, consultants, and contractors
- Manage and process all incoming and outgoing project documentation including drawings, specifications, reports, correspondence, and submittals
- Ensure proper document control procedures are followed throughout the document lifecycle
- Monitor and control document revisions, ensuring only the latest versions are available to stakeholders
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date logs including transmittals, receipt confirmations, and distribution records
- Utilize EDMS in compliance with established standards and ensure proper metadata tagging
- Maintain and update Document Distribution Matrix and workflow templates within EDMS
- Conduct spot audits and support teams to improve compliance with document control procedures
- Provide training and guidance to project teams on EDMS and document control processes
- Ensure compliance with project requirements and regulatory standards
- Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and final documentation packages as required
- Perform additional document control duties as assigned by project or senior management
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in document control within construction, engineering, or related industries
- Strong knowledge of document control processes, procedures, and EDMS platforms
- Ability to manage document workflows independently and within a team environment
- Strong attention to detail with high organizational capability
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
- Experience working on large-scale or complex projects
- Familiarity with advanced EDMS tools and workflow configuration
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills
