Company Description
We are looking for a DOCSIS CPE Test Automation Engineer & Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting both manual and automated testing of DOCSIS modems and related technologies, focusing on performance, stability, and functional validation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are met, working in a Linux-based environment with a variety of automation tools.
Job Description
- Perform testing on DOCSIS modems, ensuring functionality and performance.
- Utilize network tracer tools such as Wireshark to analyze data.
- Conduct both manual and automated testing, with a focus on IP, UDP, and TCP protocols (OSI Model L2, L3, L4).
- Test WiFi standards (6.0 and 7.0) and WiFi automation tools.
- Conduct functional and non-functional voice tests (VoIP knowledge is a plus).
- Work with containers and perform mobile app testing for both Android and iOS platforms.
- Automate testing processes using tools like Python, pytest, Appium, and Selenium.
Qualifications

Must-Have:
- English is mandatory. French is a plus. Preferably a French or Dutch speaker.
- Proven experience in test automation (Python, pytest, Appium, Selenium)
- Networking fundamentals (focus on IP, UDP, and TCP)
- Linux-based environment knowledge and command-line experience
- Mobile app testing (Android/iOS) and automation
- Performance and stability testing experience

- DOCSIS network knowledge and modem experience
- VoIP testing experience
- WiFi testing experience (standards 6.0 and 7.0)
- Familiarity with automation tools for WiFi testing
- UI testing experience
