The Job Details:
• Understand, follow and administer company policy as set forth by USCS.
• Through leadership, ensure the consistent execution of workflow throughout the warehouse, keeping safety, sanitation, cost controls, productivity, accuracy, team environment, and customer satisfaction in line with facility goals.
• Oversee company procedures, including cycle counts, product rotation, recall procedure, training, customer claims and requests, and record keeping.
• Provide hands-on leadership to promote the ongoing development of the assigned personnel and teams.
• Maximize the utilization of all USCS warehouse support computer system applications and tools, including RF equipment, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Ensure that all warehouse sanitation, safety and security activities are consistently performed within the highest USCS, OSHA, BRC and other government compliance, and industry standards.
• Work with Management, Shipping/Receiving and Customer Service personnel to ensure that all requirements and requests are addressed in the highest professional manner.
• Maximize all warehouse activities to meet established financial goals.
• Make recommendations to the Superintendent and Operations Manager for operational and capital improvements.
• Develop good working relationships with staff from all levels of the USCS team environment, leading and communicating as needed to maximize individual and team performance.
• Attend or conduct plant, customer or training meetings as needed.
• Perform any additional tasks delegated by the Superintendent and Operations Manager.
• Responsible for overall maintenance, cleanliness and organization of cooler and freezer aisles as required for efficient USCS Warehouse Operations.
• Ensure that the integrity of all products and racks is kept within USCS Warehouse standards.
• Required to attend and participate in Monthly Safety Meeting
