About our team

LexisNexis Legal & Professional, which serves customers in more than 150 countries with 11,800 employees worldwide, is part of RELX, a global provider of information-based analytics and decision tools for professional and business customers. Our company has been a long-time leader in deploying AI and advanced technologies to the legal market to improve productivity and transform the overall business and practice of law, deploying ethical and powerful generative AI solutions with a flexible, multi-model approach that prioritizes using the best model from today’s top model creators for each individual legal use case.

About the role

As the Product Experimentation Lead, you’ll shape the vision, strategy, and execution of experimentation at LexisNexis. This role is central to embedding a culture of evidence-based decision-making, with a focus on rigorous A/B testing and advanced methodologies such as multivariate testing, multi-armed bandits, and causal inference approaches. You will be the driving force behind increasing experimentation confidence and velocity, ensuring that product teams can build and ship with speed while maintaining statistical integrity.

This is a highly cross-functional role: you’ll partner with Product, Engineering, UX, and Data Science teams to establish experimentation best practices, scale internal platforms, and raise the bar for analytical rigor. Success will be measured by the adoption, velocity, and impact of experiments across the company.

You’ll lead experimentation at scale in a global organization, directly influencing product strategy and customer outcomes. You’ll have the opportunity to shape not only the platform but also the company’s culture of evidence-based decision making—empowering teams to learn faster, make smarter bets, and build with confidence.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the vision and roadmap for experimentation, with an emphasis on A/B testing frameworks, causal inference, and advanced statistical methods.

  • Build and evolve the experimentation platform to solve challenges in design, execution, and analysis.

  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams to scale experimentation rigor and self-service capabilities.

  • Define company-wide experimentation standards and train teams on designing, running, and interpreting A/B tests and complex experiments.

  • Introduce and evangelize advanced methodologies such as multivariate testing and multi-armed bandits where appropriate.

  • Act as a statistical authority for interpreting results, guiding decision-making, and ensuring proper application of methods.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience running A/B tests in real-world product or business environments.

  • 5+ years of experience in experimentation, data science, or analytics, with proven ability to design, execute, and analyze experiments at scale.

  • Deep knowledge of statistical concepts relevant to experimentation: power analysis, false discovery rates, Bayesian vs. frequentist methods.

  • Experience with experimentation platforms (e.g., Optimizely, AB Tasty, or custom platforms) or building scalable A/B testing frameworks.

  • Proficiency in SQL and a statistical programming language (Python or R required).

  • Strong technical collaboration skills with engineers and product managers.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain statistical tradeoffs and uncertainty to non-technical audiences.

  • Advanced degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Computer Science, Analytics, Data Science, etc.) strongly preferred.
