What You Will Do
As a DNS Engineer, you will support a mission-critical network infrastructure supporting DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (DDI) services. You will work hands-on with Infoblox and Cisco ISE, applying your networking knowledge to ensure high availability, security, and performance across enterprise and government environments. Key Responsibilities
  • Configure and maintain Infoblox DNS, DHCP, and IPAM (DDI) solutions.
  • Plan, test, and implement changes to the DDI infrastructure.
  • Maintain network authentication systems including Cisco ISE.
  • Troubleshoot DNS and network-related issues with clear documentation and best practices.
  • Deliver consistent communication and reporting to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Support environments used by local government, service providers, and enterprise-level customers.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 infrastructure availability.
  • Meet defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong DNS knowledge, including Infoblox experience
  • Ability to participate in on-call rotation
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and self-starting attitude
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED and 15 years of relevantIT/Network experience
    OR
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 10 years of relevant experience
Certifications:  
  • CompTIA Security+ CE (DoD 8570 IAT Level II compliant)
Clearance Requirement:
  • Must possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance to be considered for this role.

Skills Required

  • 15 years of relevant IT/Network experience or 10 years with a Bachelor's Degree
