Django/Python Trainee - Job DescriptionLooking for individuals with a can-do attitude. We realize that you may have little to no experience with Python/Django and that is fine.
This is a high visibility role with a very high ownership of the product. We are looking for someone who takes pride in owning a product and figures out ways to improve the performance, code quality, and maintainability without being asked to do so. If this sounds like you, you must apply!
Writing Modular Python code that is easy to understand.
Ensuring application architecture’s long term maintainability.
Writing unit tests that ensure the code continues to work.
Skills:
Willingness to figure things out on your own
A desire to frequently refactor your code to improve its readability and efficiency
A desire to get better at building web applications using Django and Django Rest Framework
Able to work individually and collaboratively as a team
Has shipped and iterated multiple features (in the form of college or personal projects)
0-1 years of experience with Python/Django
