Job Description
Reports to: Distribution and Industry Vertical Market Manager
Role summary:
The Distributor Development Executive will coordinate the implementation of Sika's strategic sales and marketing plans in the assigned territory, with a focus on building finishing product categories
General Responsibilities:
- Identify and generate new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients and driving revenue growth.
- Maintain customer relationships, meeting sales targets, and ensuring efficient sales operations within assigned territories with focus on building finishing
- Responsible for distributor management, primary and secondary sales volume achievement across the building finishing categories sales across all segments
- Responsible for preparing and maintaining a permanent journey plan to cover all customers in the assigned territory
- Coordinate collection of payments and timely delivery of product in good condition
- Provide all necessary information to sales administration to ensure timely and accurate invoicing of customers
- Monthly business review & working capital diagnostics with customers
- Problem solving and compliant handling
- Carry-out monthly business review with all distributors
- Effective execution of visibility at retail, and price management in a value-driven market, product availability, flawless promo execution, Quality, and customer persuasion."
- Primary responsibility for product trial demonstrations and other product activations in the market.
Qualifications
Experience & Competencies
- BSc/HND in management sciences, engineering, architecture, or related fields.
- 5+ years cognate experience in sales of building materials with minimum 3 years in distributor management, with hands on experience of construction industry and in-depth understanding of construction chemicals and building materials.
- Excellent communication skills and commercial acumen.
- Hands on experience of salesforce or any other sales automation tools.
- Intermediate level user of Microsoft Office, especially power point and Microsoft excel.
