JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for reviewing loan information contained in the Loan Origination System (LOS) to determine if the correct action as defined by Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) and Regulation C has been applied.
Completing withdraws and denial of loan files to ensure loans are dispositioned accurately, timely and in compliance with policies and procedures.

SCOPE/RESPONSIBILITIES
Research questionable determinations and consult with the manager for final determination
Issue daily the Statement of Credit Denial, Termination or Change for any applicable loan files
Ensure that all HMDA related fields within the LOS have been correctly entered and completely input
Perform periodic HMDA information audits
Assist with the annual HMDA reporting process, as requested

Operates under general supervision. Builds strong relationships with team, manager and with other related departments. Open to feedback and suggestions of others.

Work typically requires the consistent exercise of discretion and independent judgment and decision making authority on daily work assignments. Must have a detailed review skill set, strong problem-solving ability and the ability to prioritize tasks. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously to perform required work assignments.

Communication
Possesses clear and professional verbal and written communication skills which are used both internally and externally. Effectively presents accurate information to varying audiences.
Technical Proficiency
Proficiency with MS Office with particular emphasis on MS Word and Excel.
EDUCATION & PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent preferre
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years of mortgage experience
- Preferred processing and closing experience
