Geneva Trading is excited to offer an opportunity for highly disciplined, self-motivated, entrepreneurial individuals interested in gaining financial markets and trading experience through our mentorship program. The ideal candidate has prior experience in professional poker, competitive gaming/sports, and/or investing paired with a strong academic background.
Our Discretionary Trading Team uses our exceptional proprietary trading platform along with unique market visualization tools to capture edge in the markets. Our mentorship program is structured to provide you with a daily training regimen and the technological tools you need to push yourself to be the best. As a discretionary trading mentee, you will have customized training and daily guidance from our most profitable traders to learn the intricacies of the futures markets and how to capitalize on them. You will learn to use your intuition, discipline, and appetite for success to trade in live markets. The ideal candidate will draw on their competitive strengths to excel in this new endeavor. At the end of the mentorship program, you will be able to successfully capture your edge through leveraging our low latency proprietary technology.

Responsibilities
- Work in a concerted effort with mentor(s) and other mentees to achieve personal profitability goals while remaining within the company’s defined risk and capital allocation limits
- Complete customized trader education before live trading under the supervision of your mentor(s)
- Research, identify, and deploy new profitable trading opportunities
- Use strategic decision-making techniques to optimize trade selection and execution
- Complete all phases of the mentorship program with integrity
Qualifications
- Prior successful experience in a high-pressured professional competitive environment (trading, gaming, poker, athletics, etc.) highly preferred
- Demonstrated self-starter with a history of mental discipline, calculated risk-taking, and a strong work ethic
- Strong communication skills combined with a team-oriented mindset
- Natural problem-solver with an ability to execute quickly
- Experience with Excel and basic programming languages a plus
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- Academic focus on Mathematics, Actuarial Studies, or another quantitative discipline preferred
