As Data Resiliency expert, you'll be at the heart of this mission, using cutting-edge technology to rapidly recover IT systems, and build a resilient infrastructure.
In this role, you'll be a guardian of business continuity. You'll apply our innovative resilience approach to identify risks, protect invaluable data, and facilitate prompt recovery in the event of a cyber incident. You will be managing our data backup services, providing our customers with a lifeline to their critical data when they need it most.
In Cyber Resiliency, you'll have the opportunity to dive into a wide range of tasks that keep our customers’ digital environments resilient and protected. This includes assessing backup environments to detect pain points and transform them into opportunities for improvement. You’ll ensure customer data remains secure and recoverable, all while providing essential business continuity services.
Your analytical and problem-solving ability will be critical as you monitor and analyze the pulse of our customers’ data protection environment, constantly fine-tuning and optimizing for peak performance. Through automation and analytics, you’ll diagnose issues and uncover causes, all while delivering incident recovery services that save the day. Who You Are

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience (10+ years) in Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, Cyber Recovery, and Resiliency program management.

  • Design, implement, and maintain Business Continuity Plans (BCP), Disaster Recovery (DR), Cyber Recovery, and resiliency programs to ensure the uninterrupted delivery of business services.

  • Develop and manage storage, backup, and recovery strategies, including cloud-based solutions, to ensure data integrity, availability, and rapid recovery in the event of incidents.

  • Leverage NIST framework (or similar frameworks such as ISO 22301, ISO 27001 etc.) to create, align, and maintain resiliency programs with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop a clear understanding of customer resiliency needs and design tailored solutions for business-critical applications and data.

  • Perform risk assessments and business impact analysis to identify vulnerabilities and recovery priorities.

  • Conduct disaster recovery testing and cyber recovery drills to validate recovery time objectives (RTOs) and recovery point objectives (RPOs).

  • Monitor and evaluate existing resilience tools, platforms, and strategies, recommending improvements where necessary.

  • Provide ongoing leadership, training, and mentorship to internal teams and customers on best practices for disaster recovery and business continuity.

  • Ensure the program aligns with evolving business needs and any new technological advancements.

  • Stay current on emerging trends, threats, and regulatory requirements related to resiliency, disaster recovery, and business continuity.

  • Document and report on resiliency metrics, incident recovery performance, and related KPIs.

  • Serve as an expert advisor in cybersecurity resilience, helping customer manage their cyber recovery strategies.

  • Extensive hands-on experience in storage management, backup solutions, cloud services, and related technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

  • Deep understanding and practical application of the NIST framework (National Institute of Standards and Technology), and other resiliency frameworks such as ISO 22301, ISO 27001, etc.

  • Expertise in cloud computing models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), virtualization technologies, and hybrid cloud environments.

  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity recovery solutions, data protection, ransomware recovery, and business-critical application resiliency.

  • Demonstrated ability to design and lead disaster recovery tests, including tabletop exercises, live simulations, and stress testing.

  • Good understanding of regulatory compliance requirements, particularly those related to data privacy, such as GDPR, HIPAA, and SOX.

  • Hands-on experience with backup and recovery software (e.g., Veeam, CommVault, Rubrik, Veritas) and cloud-native backup solutions.

  • Proficiency in incident response and cyber recovery methodologies.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform risk assessments and prioritize recovery efforts.

  • Strong project management capabilities and experience handling multiple complex projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

 

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in working with large, enterprise-level resiliency programs and cross-functional teams.

  • Hands-on experience in cybersecurity recovery tools and techniques.

  • Familiarity with cloud-based disaster recovery platforms such as Zerto, CloudEndure, or Veeam Cloud Connect.

  • Advanced certifications or training in cloud resiliency and data protection.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or other related fields

  • One or more security certifications, e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP or CISM
