The Role:

As the Legal Entity Treasurer you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of treasury operations, financial management, regulatory compliance, collateral optimization, and transfer pricing for our legal entities. This pivotal role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in finance, risk management, and regulatory compliance within the broker-dealer industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management:

•  Develop and execute financial strategies to optimize the allocation of capital, manage liquidity, and maximize returns on investments.
• Monitor cash flow, manage banking relationships, and ensure sufficient funding for operational needs and regulatory requirements.

Regulatory Compliance:

•  Stay abreast of regulatory requirements imposed by governing bodies such as the SEC, FINRA, and other relevant authorities.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations governing broker-dealer activities, financial reporting, and treasury operations.

Treasury Operations:

•  Oversee the day-to-day treasury functions, including cash management, funding operations, collateral management, and transfer pricing.
•  Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance efficiency, control risks, and maintain the integrity of treasury operations.

Collateral Optimization:

•  Identify opportunities to optimize the use of collateral assets, including securities, cash, and other eligible instruments, to enhance funding efficiency, minimize costs, and maximize returns.
• Implement collateral optimization strategies to support trading activities, meet regulatory requirements, and manage counterparty credit risk effectively.

Transfer Pricing:

•  Develop transfer pricing methodologies for intercompany transactions within the firm's legal entities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and alignment with industry best practices.
• Monitor and analyze transfer pricing arrangements to ensure fairness, transparency, and consistency across business units and jurisdictions.

Risk Management:

•  Identify, assess, and manage liquidity and develop appropriate models to monitor.
•  Implement risk mitigation strategies and controls to safeguard the firm's financial assets and ensure regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

• At least eight (8) years of professional experience in Liquidity Management or Treasury function within a financial services setting
• Bachelor degree in Finance, Economics or similar quantitative disciplines
• A breadth of experience and understanding of liquidity risk management for our business and product lines
• In depth financial market knowledge across equities, fixed income, capital markets and investment banking
• Proven track record of developing and maintaining strong relationships with business heads, Risk, Finance, Operations and other corporate functions
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple competing workstreams and issues simultaneously through effectively working with others in Treasury, other internal departments and senior management
• Analytical skills to effectively drive execution and take ownership with limited supervision while 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with the ability to prepare, synthesize and present detailed information to stakeholders across all levels of the organization
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or Google Suite (Sheets, Slides, Docs)

We Offer:

The Base Salary Range for this role is $170,000 - $250,000. This range is representative of the starting base salaries for this role at Clear Street. Where a candidate falls in this range will be based on job related factors such as relevant experience, skills, and location. This range represents Base Salary only, which is just one element of Clear Street's total compensation. The range stated does not include other factors of total compensation such as bonuses or equity.
