Full-Time | Nashua, NH

Greater Nashua Mental Health is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Training to lead the development and execution of agency-wide learning and development initiatives. This role is responsible for ensuring all staff have the knowledge, skills, and tools needed to support high-quality care and organizational success. The Director of Training partners closely with leadership to align training strategies with agency goals, foster workforce development, and drive a culture of continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop and execute a comprehensive training and staff development strategy aligned with organizational goals.

· Serve as a strategic advisor on workforce readiness, capability building, and organizational development.

· Anticipate skill gaps and implement proactive, data-driven learning solutions.

· Design, implement, and continuously improve onboarding and annual training programs.

· Ensure training content is engaging, relevant, and aligned with best practices and regulatory standards.

· Oversee training operations including scheduling, delivery, and tracking of attendance within learning systems.

· Evaluate and manage learning technologies, vendors, and external training partners.

· Lead, coach, and develop training staff, including the Training Coordinator.

· Manage training budgets and ensure cost-effective allocation of resources.

· Establish and maintain standards for instructional design and training delivery.

· Define and monitor KPIs to measure the effectiveness and impact of training initiatives.

· Analyze feedback and performance data to continuously improve programs and outcomes.

· Partner with department leaders to identify training needs and develop role-specific learning pathways.

· Support change management, organizational growth, and culture initiatives through targeted learning programs.

· Ensure compliance with all regulatory, contractual, and organizational training requirements.

· Prepare reports and presentations on training performance and outcomes for leadership.

Qualifications

· Master’s degree in Human Services or a related field required.

· 6–8 years of relevant experience in training, learning and development, or organizational development.

· Active New Hampshire licensure (LCMHC, LMFT, LICSW, or Licensed Psychologist) required.

· Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and training methodologies.

· Experience developing and implementing agency-wide training initiatives.

· Demonstrated leadership and team development experience.

· Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities.

· Experience with data-driven decision making and performance metrics.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and learning management systems.

Salary Range:  $66,788 - $92.788

Skills Required
