The Mission

At Rx Redefined, we don’t just move medical devices; we redefine how they reach the patients who need them. We are looking for a visionary Director of Supplier Strategy—a creative deal-maker and master storyteller who can translate our unique market impact into unmatched competitive advantages.


You aren't just managing costs; you are architecting the economic engine of our business. You will be the face of Rx Redefined to the manufacturing world, selling our "why" to incentivize the industry’s biggest players to invest in our success.


Summary

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Sourcing leader to own, deepen, and optimize our commercial relationships with DME manufacturers. You will serve as the primary point of contact for top-tier manufacturing partners. Your core mission is to leverage our unique growth story to build relationships and secure creative pricing and rebate agreements.


What You’ll Do

  • Tell the Rx Redefined Story: Act as a brand ambassador, articulating our unique value proposition to manufacturers so effectively that they view us not just as a customer, but as a vital strategic partner.
  • Drive Economic Strategy & Margin Growth: Architect innovative partnership frameworks and incentive programs that turn "suppliers" into long-term allies. You will hunt for “marketability” within our product structure, identifying creative ways to unlock rebates and improve contract structures to drive bottom-line performance.
  • Strategize for Scale: Own the gross margin narrative. You’ll optimize our powerhouse Urology category while painting the masterpiece for our expansion into Diabetes and emerging DME POS markets.
  • Master the Negotiation: Lead high-stakes negotiations that balance aggressive cost-optimization with the nuance required to maintain elite-level industry relationships.
  • Operational Excellence & Troubleshooting: Manage day-to-day manufacturer relationships and track progress toward volume rebate incentives to ensure we hit sales targets. You’ll be the point person for troubleshooting manufacturer-driven issues, including inventory shortages, recalls, and clinic interactions.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner with Finance, Commercial, and patient-facing teams to serve as the resident product catalog expert. You’ll support formulary selection, SKU additions, and clinic communications to ensure seamless internal alignment.

  • Industry Experienced: You bring 4+ years of experience within strategic sourcing, category management, or sales within the healthcare or life sciences ecosystem.
  • Strong Financial Acumen: You love the numbers because they tell a story. You use financial data and deep analysis to find the “hidden” opportunities that others miss.
  • Relationship First: You thrive on building trust and navigating diverse healthcare landscapes with high emotional intelligence and professional grit.

  • Specific experience within the DME (Durable Medical Equipment) landscape.
  • Domain knowledge of manufacturer landscapes specifically within diabetes supplies.
  • Prior experience in an early-stage healthcare or tech startup.
